Mechanical in my 68 used to do the same. I ended up just swapping out the mechanical bits in it with the electronic conversion kit I got from Zip or Wilcox. Nice and smooth and accurate now.

I went with semi coilovers from VanSteel in my 68 which were easy to install (just drilled out the bolt holes on the lower arms to fit the bigger bolts in the kit) and adjust for a perfect ride...

I thought early 68s don't have the support rod and it was added later in the production year. My Nov 67 build doesn't seem to but then again a lot forward of the firewall was replaced at some time.

I'd love to come see it at the nationals too having followed from the ACA days, but not sure my 68 would make it. Your front end semi coil overs are helping me make it one step closer though.

When all the way straight up they function well to direct fresh air down through the gap in front of them into the cabin. Helps in summer when driving if your aircon doesn't work like mine doesn't.

Just to confuse things more, 68s had an early and a late version of the nozzle. Early used a notch in the wiper panel to point through where they mounted, late didn't.
