putting seat back in and they dont semm to fit quite right. When I put the cover over the floor mount it covers it up and almost kinks it or creates alot of friction, do I have it at a wrong angle?...

Pulled everything out to dye and put new gauges, carpet, weatherstripping in the 76 and had some serious downtime waiting for parts. Any tips or resources on how to speed up my reassembling process?...

Thinking of getting a late 80's set of L98 heads for my 76, will the stock springs handle a mild cam upgrade, say the comp cam 268xe? any help appreciated

they would still add 30 hp or so over the L48 iron heads , right? If they would bolt right on and shave off 50 lbs, I would be up for it.

How are coil springs rated?

So my 76 weighs 3500 lbs more or less, what kind of weight would 550 and 460 lb springs support at the same ride height? Also what are my stock springs rated at? thanks for any help
