Considering the forward location of the C5...

Considering the forward location of the C5 catalytic converters I don't think side pipes would be an issue except for the ground clearance. With the mufflers up front it would sound so much better...

Couldn't one simply buy the newer style Aluminum Pistol Grip and tap it to 9/16"-18 which is the same thread of the stock C5/C6 and MGW shifter shaft ??

You only need to find the correct...

You only need to find the correct wattage/resistance resistor. Too small of wattage will burn up. The problem is getting the LED bulb specs.
If you have the LED specs then you can use this formula...

Thanks h8Snow. The rear stop/running and signal LED equivalent is a 3157 bulb.
I still cant find the FRONT Stop/Running and Turn signal equivalents but I'm getting there thanks to all your help guys!

Do all MGW use the 9/16 X 18 threads (same as stock C5 shifter knob) because I really don't want to spend good $$$ for an MGW and be stuck with my stock C5 knob...
