I've got an Edelbrock Performer Air-Gap. It's got about, oh..I don't know, maybe 200-250miles on it. It's been glass bead blasted and then clear coated.

I never installed any bushings with the cam. I used a Cloyes double roller chain, lined the dots up and bolted them on and never had any problems.

I beleive Comp wants them degreed at a 106...

Jman purchased (from Summit Racing) a 45.00$ set of header gaskets. The guy on the phone said that these were the correct copper...

On HPTV a year or so ago they bolted on a Vortech blower onto a 98' Cobra with stock everything except for the fuel pump, intercooler and s/c (it had flowmaster naturally) And it put down 42X RWHP...

I've got the DynoMax ceramic coated headers too. Though I'm not too happy with the state of the ceramica coatings on them..They're the best bang for the buck.

1 1/4 pipes?? That backed with headers isn't going to help performance at all.

I'd go with atleast 2 1/4 piping.

But, DynoMax ceramic coated headers work fine. Check on Jegs, they have specific...

I got 2.5 aluminized pipes with an H-pipe fully welded and sealed (no tips, just down turned) for 300.00$ Tips were another 50.00$ which I plan to get soon..700.00$ and it better be mandrel bent and...

The mian weren't turned. Just micro polished. The rod mains were turned. But that will all be corrected with over sized bearings. So, the timing chain "slop" won't be affected.

I think my buddy Jeff ran a small spacer with a normal Performer intake with his 650 Speed Demon.

When he got the air-gap I think he used a single prong thing..Just one vacuum connection comming...
