Thanks, That was just installing my then new altered firing order 427 SBC clear back when I had a racing 700R4 3800 stall 9.5 inch. I use full vac port to the vacuum advance and cap the partial.

I was very simple and just put a lighted 40 amp switch on the lower dash that I could reach to lockup 4th gear when I wanted to. So 1-2-3-4 was all auto and then if I was cruising I put on lockup.

I run a square coil mounted on the fire wall, but years ago I ran a Blaster coil. Unless you are a purest I would get ride of points ignition with a pertronics modual.
