No ring gear bolt backed out and it isn't a 76 diff. It is a 71 diff and there was a large washer left inside the case that ended up running between the ring and pinion. GTR1999 fixed this...

I used the Cycloaliphatic epoxy from Epoxy-Coat. Put down the color, then the flakes, then a clear coat over the top. I don't have any rough edges from the flakes and they are all nicely sealed...

You should be able to order a replacement tube...

You should be able to order a replacement tube from Vansteel for around $6. Without that outside washer, your TA shims are going to be loose by the thickness that is missing when you put things back...

I prefer the .82 OD. There is too much of a gap from 4th to 5th with the .64. I have the .82(4618) in two cars, one with a 3.55 and the other a 3.73.
