hi, my name is zach. i saw in a thread that you had a supercharged ls in your c3 corvette. i no its an old post and im not sure if you still have the car but i am doin the same set up in my 73. i was just wondering if you could share some information with me to make it a little easier for me and maybe some need to knows.i no that there is alot of information on the site already but i figured you having the same set up and going through it first hand would be the easiest way to figure it all out. and also if you dont mind sharing about how far it set you back? im not looking for all the chrome or fancy show stuff. but i would just like to know about how much this build will cost me in the end. i would really appreciate the help and any information you could share with me, and i hope to get a response back soon. thanks.

Yes. The car is 4-sale. I had said back in some other posts (Project FrankenSport) that I was going to be selling it. I'm building a 65 right now and although it sort of breaks my heart to let it go priorities change not to mention the fact I enjoy building them more then driving them. But fortunately I'm in no rush. So if I don't sell it for several months that's fine. Thanks, Joe..

    Joe,

what year are you looking for? reason I ask, will be taking the ORIGINAL tub off my 1963 Z06 as it has slight damage - am replacing with an ORIGINAL I just found that has no damage

Woodie, the 65 is really a SB car but I have a 396 I was goig to pump up and install. I bought it with no motor or tranny but it's a solid project. THe 63 I have is a late 63 with original numbers. Would not work in your situation. Thanks, Joe..

Hi saw your post regarding your 63 engine and putting BB in your 65. Is it a real 396/425 car? do you have the 396? i have a Corvette 396 all rebuilt I was going to put in a car, but am not going to use now. i may be looking for a very early 63 motor date like H of 62 .

I'll try this week (if that won't be too late) to get a couple of better shots of that side of the motor. Will that work?

Is that capped off line for the vacuum or clean air?

Man that is a good looking engine!

    Hey James,

It comes out of the rear of the drivers side valve cover and around to the passenger side and goes into the snout of the blower.

Not the best pic but you can see the rubber capped inlet here.
