Replacing brake calipers...
I will be replacing all 4 calipers on my 67 and was wondering if anybody out there is familiar with Precision Engineering in Florida. I saw their add in the NCRS driveline and they seem to have the best price (295.00) for a full kit. These are the stainless steel sleeves with O-ring seals. Any comments are appreciated. Thanks.

I have a pair of their calipers on the front of my '66 for about 3 years now & they are fine. The o-ring design is a big improvement over the lip seal, in my opinion. The only trouble I had was with their bleeder valves -- they were not of very good quality & it was difficult to get a seal when closing after bleeding strokes. A friend of mine had similar problems with a set he bought about the same time. This was some time ago, and they may have changed part supplier by now. Easy fix anyway.

I just bought a set of [original] delco-moraines (sp?) and they are exact...perfectly correct (if that matters). They were quite expensive though (almost $500. for the calipers and pads). Nonetheless, i am very happy with them.
