no it can not be done. The gauges have a retainer on the front the holds the unit together. You need to pull the cluster and then pull the gauge pod out to work on it.

They are not the same tach. The 270HP does not have an rev meter while the 245hp does.

Real FI cars will have an air cleaner nut riveted into the inner finder.
